Join Us - Spring 2026
Our choir is made up of singers from all walks of life, from professional musicians to amateur singers who simply love to sing. We hold auditions for new singers twice a year (September and January), at the beginning of each session. Our rehearsals are focused and productive, as we work towards our goal of delivering outstanding performances.
Choral Evolution is a performance-oriented choir that will take you on a musical journey like no other. With a repertoire that spans all genres, including non-traditional choir pieces, this choir is sure to captivate and inspire. The music is thought-provoking, full of beautiful harmonies that challenge the singers to perform at their best. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 7:00 to approximately 9:15 pm, alternating weekly between:

Our first rehearsal will be held in Sooke on Wednesday, January 7 (Sooke Community Hall), followed by our second rehearsal in Langford on Wednesday, January 14 (Westshore Masonic Centre).
Rehearsals start promptly at 7:00 pm. Please arrive by 6:30 pm so we can arrange music and seating for you.

If you are new to the choir, we invite you to come see what we’re all about! The first two rehearsals are open and obligation-free, giving new singers the chance to get to know Choral Evolution and potentially sign up for an audition. Please pre-register HERE as soon as possible to receive full details about the first rehearsal.
